Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Cruise Director Luperci de Souza has sung his way around the world. Some of his credits include performances for Pope John Paul II, Ennio Morricone, Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, and Presidents of Brazil. He has sung in several Brazilian TV series, as well as debuting operatic roles in Brazil, Argentina, Scotland and England such as Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Young Gypsy (Aleko), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) and Tito (La Clemenza di Tito), (Theatre Royal in Glasgow; Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro; St. John Smith Square in London; Teatro del Sodre in Montevideo; Tiroler Festspiel in Erl).
Luperci was awarded a full scholarship by the ABRSM to attend the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to complete his master’s degree in opera and also has been given a Global Talent Visa to reside in the UK.
